High speed wireless internet access = $50
Laptop computer with wireless card = $800

Staying up way too late on a work night and accidentally finding out that Morgan Freeman was on Electric Company and can sing = priceless

BONUS: Finding out that Bill Cosby was on it too.

Man, I'm not getting any sleep tonight.

Hmmm... I'm not convinced he's not lip syncing. His 'voice' is much different in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp0-yDJAtWQ.

I'd be more inclined to question if Freeman is singing if it were a different show (it's hard for me to believe Electric Company had enough of a budget to hire additional vocalists).

Keep in mind that "Words" and "Casket" are two very different styles of performance. In "Words," Freeman shows a lot of the same vocal qualities as he does when he speaks. In the Count Dracula clip, his tone is much more affected, though there are certain words that still show some of his distinctive vocal characteristics (e.g., "ring" at 0:24).

Think of it this way -- Queen Latifah's jazz vocals don't sound the same as her performance in Chicago, and these sound different from her hip hop vocals -- but it's all her.

Here's an EC clip that's more in the middle. Again, vaudeville isn't going to have the same vocal quality as 70s pop ("Words"), but it still sounds like Morgan Freeman.

Freeman was also in The Gospel at Colonus, if you remember that play -- it's all sung.

I submit to your superior expertise. Please pass along my apologies to Mr. Freeman
