So I'm about two pages away from having all of Issue One drawn and inked. I could've finished it yesterday, but then my sketchbook looked at me and said "There's only two pages left in me, FINISH ME" so I had to obey the iron word of the Sketchbook. You know how it goes. It's a small update, but I think it's interesting at least

A major theme of Skin Deep is the whole "The world is seen in shades of grey, not black and white" thing, so things like "Satyrs can sometimes be horses" "Why?" "Because" are like my favorite things ever.

I'm glad Michelle's gotten cooler. She used to suck, but I'm getting to like her more now. Yay!

I love filling up a sketchbook and then getting a new one, full of blank, inviting pages.

DANGIT, I FORGOT THERE WERE MALE FAUNS. I kept debating with myself whether or not there would be in SD, and it's nice to have cleared up. This makes filling out the Mooreshead family a bit easier. WOO. Funktastic designs, by the way. Haha, Depp faun. I bet Greg's annoyed that he's not the type of satyr with normal human hands.

KELPIES ARE SCARY. I considered one once, but I went with bugganes instead. Bugganes are like the cheerful, friendly version of kelpies.

And you know Greg is all "S.O.B." everytime he tries to do something that involves more than three fingers. You know there's some bitterness there. You know, more bitterness than usual.

I love kelpies. Creepy things in general I love.

I love satyrs and fauns and the complicated definitions of which is which and what makes one therin.

... Especially Johnny Depp faun. His antlers are splendid. (true story: I don't have characers with antlers 'cause antlers are RETARDED STUPID TO DRAW.)
The manly satyrs are awesome. I LOVE THE ONE WITH MUTTON CHOPS. ACTUALLY I JUST LOVE MUTTON CHOPS. Satyrs are an instant excuse for the best facial hair ever. I'm glad you draw lots of hooved characters, 'cause you're really damn good at it. Just sayin'.

Kelpies rock the "Freaky as fuck" mythology metre hardkore. The "drowning kids and EATING THEM" bit was always my most/least favourite part of their myth. WHO EVER THOUGHT THAT WAS A COOL IDEA? 'CAUSE IT IS, BUT MAN, GROSS. WAY TO GO, MYTHOLOGY.

Also I love Amure. Draw more of her. kthnx.

ALSO MICHELLE IS SO COOL. I like that despite not speaking French you got the words/accents right on the lyrics. Way to go, Kory. One pseudo-Canadian point for you.
