I have learned that sometimes it is better to plan a bit more...for the possible obstacles.

I suppose I just don't dwell on hitting obstacles long enough to plan avoiding them.
Not the best policy with our lifespans, I'm sure. Then again, you already know that... Perhaps I should change my philosophy.
