Hers was the first good Remus/Tonks fan fic I ever read. She coaxed me out of annonymity to get my own LJ. My first bit of fan art was based on one of her stories and she ships Spock/Uhura...well, nobody's perfect. ;) But! She also has one of the cutest cats ever and is just a warm and wonderful person.

Aw, thanks so much! You've made me all mushy inside. I'm so happy to have made friends with you on LJ -- you're such a cool person, even if you don't get Spock/Uhura. ;) Dorrie is basking in your praise, too.

Happy birthday to your grandfather! I love to see people grow old with that kind of grace and energy. He looks amazing and I'm sure your life is so enriched to have him. Many more to him! (And to us all!)

What a great article about your grandfather - now that's a life and a half! Your grandmother sounded like a tremendous character as well, with so many interests.

I think I'd love a tour of your grandfather's garden. :)
