So last night, I'm relaxing in the recliner and reading a magazine when the phone rings. I grumble, get up to answer it and this is what I hear:

"Mom, can you bring me some chips and a Coke?"

It's AJ calling on his cell phone. From the basement. Seems he can't be bothered to pause his video game to get a snack

LMAO! So, the question is: did you yell at AJ on the phone; did you wait to yell until he got upstairs, or was it both? ;)

If it's any consolation, the Republicans are calling me. Many of them from Liddy Dole's campaign with hateful anti-union rhetoric. I told one of the robocalls, "My husband is a Teamster, and you people can bite my ass."

No phone calls from Johnny Mac himself, just seems that the North Carolina Republican Party can't get the point--that I've already voted, and the only one on their ticket that got my vote was Mayor Pat for Governor.

Oh, well, it's over tomorrow. At least we hope.

So funny about AJ. I guess that's coming 10 years in my future.

I'll watch out for him on 40. :P
