When I was teething, my Mom used to rub Southern Comfort on my gums. It put me to sleep. Wen I was a little kid, when I was sick and couldn't sleep, she'd give me about 1/3 of a shot of the stuff. It always helped me sleep.
I'm not an alcoholoic today, although to this day, if I drink stright Southern Comfort (not in a mixed drink,) I will get really tired.
Just an idea...
