I really like this article on learning history. Especially since it's focused on one of the things that I can't do well: memorization of history facts. I've never been good at just memorizing and memorizing and not knowing how things are used or where we can apply them, and so when it comes down to history classes, I'm basically screwed over. As the silver snowflakes fluttered down from the grey skies onto the dampening pavement, I clutched the wrapped present to my chest and hoped it would someday reach you.
