I don't have the energy to think of anything for the Love Thyself project. I can't even write properly. Stupid Holden Caulfield. Every time I pick up The Catcher in the Rye, I feel like kicking something. Because the boy is just. not. amusing. And he's irritating. And such a hypocrite. And oh, did I mention phony, like he calls everyone but himself ( Read more... )

academia sorrow, rose fangirls like crazy, school, wtf fandom, writer's block, philosophy, i call him ryoface, my otp

i love you.

my dad smoked too~ maybe that's the basis of its appeal.

i think ryo could do basically anything and it would be sexy. and omg i didn't notice on the dvd either! i will have to watch it again.

i know what you mean about the scent being attractive. obviously not hotboxing in an enclosed room or the way it lingers in your clothes (the staleness you were referring to), but i especially like the way it tastes on someone's tongue. ofc this is judging based on when i used to smoke so i can't say how i would like it now, but i can say with extreme confidence that it would take a lot more than smoker's breath to get me to push ryo's tongue out of my mouth, ffs.

a;kgjdskjfd why is this so true?

I can't say from experience anything about the kissing part, mostly because I haven't kissed a smoker (or anyone for that matter) before, but hints of it hanging in the air for me is perfectly nice. Better than the incense we have at my house, imo. :|

..I actually liked that book, though I read it billions of years ago, and now I really don't remember it, beside the fact that the language was a bit funny (traslation tend to do that a lot.)

I still don't get all the fuss about it, but I do live in a place where most poeple smoke/smoked anyway, so yeah, i can't really relate. Anyway, this is one of those things that makes me wonder why people don't seem to be able to draw a line about personal choices, privacy and all that. I don't see why anyone should be offended about dating smoking idols xDDD..Oh, well.

It's weird, I think, because I like the book. The way it's written is nice, as well as the language, but Holden just a;lkjghkdhgaj;df irritates me to no end. /D;;

idek, people need to stop poking into these boys' private business, whether it be who they date or what they do (as long as it's not illegal, I figure). But so goes life.

I hate that book. The kid ruined it for me, for real, I read it once for school and ugh, it was the source of many rants that I'm sure my friends didn't enjoy XDD;;; but yeah...

AND THEN HE TAKES A DRAG OF IT ON CAMERA. (is that the right terminology there?) LOL, you're cute XD But for real, it's pretty much required (not really, but you catch my drift) in the cherokee half of my family to smoke, obviously there are different cultural views on it :p and now I'm going to watch the backstage portion of WPD, just to see all the Shige-loving that part <.<; and man. Ryo can fucking pull off anything and still look like walking sex, that man should be illegal

It would be much more enjoyable if he stopped ranting and idek, started actually doing what he set out to do in the first place.

I wish more people would just realize that Japan's not like their country or whatever. There would be a lot fewer irritating posts like that in the comms. :|

Ryo's talents are to be admired. :3

Apparently so, which is kind of irritating because then there are at least 2029352034 posts on it a year and it turns into this big debacle about whether or not they really smoke omg where's the proof I can't believe my beloved ____ smokes!!!1!!one1!!eleven!!!11!
lol at least I'm not alone

Even as an Asian, I'd just like to say how gross smoke is when you _aren't_ a smoker and didn't grow up with it. ^_^; Just random point.

I know, I have friends who are extremely anti-smoking and feel that way, but it shouldn't be such a shock and have to turn into a debate. .___.;; That's mostly it.

*chuckle* I wonder if it's be cause they idealized him in their minds and smoking is a big turn-off for them. I mean, it would be the equivalent (for me) of finding out Scalzi has a mistress.
