If you have netflix watch the swedish version of Let The Right One In. I've been watching horror flicks but most don't really scare me at all any more. I am jaded.

I do not have netflix, but I watched Dracula with Bela Lugosi (from my DVD collection).

I also have more favorites on the way, namely Psycho, The Birds, The Dead Zone (Christopher Walken), and Rosemary's Baby (which I have never seen. But, I love Ruth Gordon! I know the movie is supposed to be frightening, but when I saw Ruth Gordon saying "Hail Satan!" -I saw the clip on youtube- I thought it was just hilarious) :-)

Rosemary's baby is ....odd. It's worth a watch. Moral- don't trust nice old people. Whole level of more creepy given Mia married Woody Allen...

Purty kitty is purty. I know it happens, but surely there must be a special place in hell for those who would hurt any creature.

Amen! Halloween doesn't get celebrated here like it does in the States. I'm glad for that. I've seen too many kick dogs for no reason other than that it was close enough to kick!

It's not so much that there are peopletrying to abuse the critters, but there are parents in cars, and loud kids that may scare them. Plus all teh smells of costumes and such. SO the issue is getting hit, or lost possibly. Also, if yiou have a happy cat or dog that is cute, someone might steal it. If a kid drops some candy a dog might eat it wrapper and all, and chocolate isn't good for cats.
