Summary: This is a story about blurred lines and crazy, messy relationships.
For the umpteenth time that night, Changmin could hear Yoochun’s soft giggles through the thin walls that separated his room and Yunho’s room. Changmin plugged his ears, tuned out the voices from outside and went back to concentrating on his project that was due in two days.
It was ridiculous, at least that’s what Changmin thought, the way Yoochun and Yunho spent their all their time together now; giggling together, eating out together, watching movies together, shopping together. Changmin thought he had seen them slip in a kiss or two while they were doing whatever they were doing. And Yoochun was over at their place all the time now; he was there in the kitchen when Changmin was studying, he was there on the sofa when Changmin came back home, he was there reading magazines in the living room when Changmin was having a bath; he was everywhere in their apartment, Changmin thought one of these days, he would find Yoochun by their doorstep with all his luggage and moving into their apartment.
It wasn’t that he minded Yoochun. He thought Yoochun was a great guy; funny, smart, sharp and he had great music sense. But it was sort of pathetic seeing Yunho and Yoochun were all cuddly and touchy and feely with each other. It was pathetic on so many levels.
Yunho and Yoochun were colleagues at the law firm Yunho was working at, they had met casually at the office cafeteria and hit it off from there (or so that’s howYunho’s put it) and from then, they were really inseparable; much to Changmin’s annoyance (and part amusement)
“Hey Changmin….” Yunho poked his head in and Changmin looked up from his project and unplugged his ears. “You wanna come out for dinner? Yoochun’s treating.” Yunho grinned.
“Nah, you guys go ahead. I have this project due in two days and I would like some peace and quiet…” Changmin smiled and Yunho threw him a mock angry look. “Alright…” Yunho shrugged. “I’ll get you something packed.”
“Thanks, Hyung.” Changmin smiled and waved goodbye and minutes later, Yoochun poked his head in.
“Hey, you should join us, it’ll be fun.”
“I would have loved to but, I have this college project to give in so…can’t” Changmin shrugged.
“Aw, that’s too bad.” Yoochun pursed his lips together. “Anyway, best of luck and good night.”
“Good night and have fun.” Changmin waved and sighed as he heard the two walk out of the door; finally the place was peaceful enough for him to complete his work. He reclined back into his chair and stretched; stifling a yawn. As much as he was annoyed and amused by what Yoochun and Yunho had, a part of him craved for a relationship like that; one where he could dote on someone and spend time together making fun of each other.
He didn’t want to admit it, but he was rather jealous of what Yunho and Yoochun shared.

Changmin rushed through the streets of his neighborhood, a small voice from the back of his head scolded him for trying to pull an all nighter the previous night. He tuned out the voice and skidded to a stop at café near the end of the road. He bustled in, his folders and all. He walked up to counter and fidgeted around, trying to file all papers together and fix his hair at the same time;
“May I take your order please?”
“Yeah, I - “Changmin glanced up and froze; he was pretty sure he wasn’t breathing as he stared at the guy in front of him. There was some kind of warm glow emitted from this guy. He was fair, big brown eyes and plush red lips; he had his fringes pinned up and he blinked back at Changmin.
“Excuse me…your order?”
Changmin felt his mouth dry up and mind go blank as he stared at this man; a little badge on his shirt said Jaejoong
Shim Changmin, decided, he was in love.
