Video is not something I can see my pursuing as a career and being happy with it. I get more out of Graphic Design and Professional Communications and I also I feel that I can contribute a lot more to careers in those fields, unlike Video.

I work/live on the cape.
Trust me it's NOT really that worth it to intern down here if you can even find one...
You could try at where I work maybe... Cape Air. (It's an airline, duh)

But rent and cost of living is outrageous.

I pay 750.00 + utils a month to literaly live in a closet that has no closet space, a shitty landlord, even shitter neighbors. It is near a beach, but I have to work so much just to afford to live that I haven't gone once this summer.

In the winter, most of the stores/restaurants close up and nothing is open past 6 and there's a cerfew that even 24hr business have to be closed between the hours of 1am and 3am. The cops are harassing the locals are depressing.

Go to Boston. You're better off.

I actually MISS Fitchburg...

I didn't pay rent where I lived, because I was living with my boyfriend and his family. And if I do get an internship down on the Cape, the same scenario would most likely happen with my living situation. I understand the Cape goes into hibernation at night and I'm okay with that (I have a job with a security company that works 24/7, so I can pick up hours whenever ( ... )
