There's a lot floating around in my head lately. My new job is settling in well; I'm really proud of my new crimson uniform shirt. A lot of my coworkers seem EXTREMELY friendly which is helping me fit in. I'm absolutely startled at the amount of spirits, hard-balls, and high class liquors I'm surrounded by (and know very little about). But I'm glad ( Read more... )

Unrelated to the post, but I hope you guys are doing alright dealing with the flooding! It's nuts out there. I almost got stuck in Winfield today because my routes back home kept getting shut down by the police due to the roads being flooded. DX

Yep! Our place was unscathed since we live up on the third floor of our complex. Our parking lot however was completely flooded making it impossible for Jess to travel to her job and nearly impossible for me to drive back home from my job. Had to borrow my father's pick up truck to traverse the high waters that laid waste to many side streets.

I'm guessing you didn't receive any damages to your living space?
