Awh man, this show was awesome. Especially when the kid Peter "kills" Van Pelt and starts to slowly transform into the new jungle hunter. This was '96-'99 so I was in Junior High when it was on!
You should check it out! (If that's even possible!) It's definitely a great continuum/alternative universe tale if you enjoyed the live-action concept.
Ah but it is the theme that is most epic. The intro used to give the back shivers every time I watched it. Loved the show though. I made it my mission to see every episode.
