Yesterday I was introduced to vodka drowned pineapple.
It was GOOOOOOD! Celebrating ryryottah's birthday was a blast.
Was able to see a ton of the gamers/larpers & the furs all in one apartment.
Good news- I've lost 6lbs ever since I started my new diet & exercise routine!

Yeah- I don't see portal being portable. Gah, tongue twister.
My mate likes to play Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii most of the time, so it's nice to have a handheld so I can just relax, snuggle, and play a game too.

I have not yet heard of the black error screen yet. I'll have to read up on that before I head to the electronics store today.

And yeah- Earthsea was a total waste of time. Even the original author of the Earthsea book series seemed pretty peeved with how Miyazaki went about it.

If you do see Suckerpunch let me know what you thought! I've been accumulating a trove of input from many friends to determine if it's worth the effort.

I saw a SciFi Channel adaptation of Earthsea (or something based off of it?). It was... mediocre. I never read the books, but the movie and story was just sorta... blah. I don't mind re-doing the same things that have been done before (most stories are archetypical, and most humans display some archetypical traits- meaning there will always be "repeats" of ideas)- it's just all about adding enough flare, character, or uniqueness to make it feel fun. Or something. And the movie definitely didn't bring that.

Wow, that really makes it sound scary when you say it's a quarter thousand dollars. Also, RAMMSTEIN YEAHHHHH!! (going to see them again, too)

Your mother was not alone. I was falling asleep watching it as well. It just was so uneventful to watch. And believe me, Earthsea is just as bad. D:
