for my midterm reviews i do a quiz show game i modeled on Mr. Down's Chemistry reviews back in high school.

if i'm remembering correctly, the teacher or another student starts at one side of the classroom and they would hold up a flashcard to the first two students and the first person to get the right answer would move on to stand next to the next student. Then the person who gets that card right moves on and the game moves around the classroom.

i have a very dim memory of playing this for multiplication tables in 3rd or 4th grade, and I can't really remember how it's played or how it ends.

i usually play quiz type games like jeopardy because it keeps the whole class engaged and there is more reason for everyone to pay attention. I think I might just stick with that and the other games i've made up.
