Wow, it's been ages since I was last on LJ (again!)

New Merlin, however, is proving something of an incentive... oh, yes, that was NEW MERLIN!
Series 2 begins on Saturday 19th September 2009 at 6:40pm on BBC1 here in the UK =D I am beyond excited!

My jaw kind of dropped when I saw that Arthur/Gwen kiss, but I'm just waiting for it to be revealed as a character daydream. I don't want to get my hopes up too much. They DO seem to be giving her prettier costumes this series though! Also, jousting makes me very happy! Nothing like men charging at each other at breakneck speed (literally) while wearing ridiculously heavy armour! Also, nobody can threaten the Merlin/Arthur bromance! >(

Yeah, I was shocked by that too, but I can see it being real, although maybe not in the context we've been led to believe by the trailer.
I'm very much looking forward to the jousting :) Looks like they've done it fairly well too (I hope so, anyway)...

Like a goodbye kiss? Or maybe under the influence of magic? (I REALLY hope not, the last thing we need is the implication that Gwen/Arthur would only happen if one of them wasn't in their right mind, and we've already had the revelation that Arthur was born with the help of magic.)

I wasn't thinking of magic at all, actually; the goodbye kiss is more along the lines of what I meant. Or maybe something like "If I win, I'll kiss every girl in this room...", or even a 'good luck' kind of kiss.

Congrats on the job(s)! I currently fighting a few thousand people for the, like, one job in whole of Surrey. That is unless you're a teacher, a dental nurse or a legal secutary. It sucks. I'm now looking in to doing an apprenticeship.

Hehe, so many people work/have worked in Tesco :P I haven't started the museum work yet, not until the end of October, but really looking forward to it.

Ooh, bet you're excited about your second year starting. Have you seen many of your uni friends over the summer or will it be a bit of a reunion too?
Saw on your LJ you didn't pass the driving test - really sorry to hear that, maybe take a bit of time out and try again next year?

I think we'll all be squeeing over one thing or another :P I've been a bit out of the Merlin-related loop for a while now, so there'll even be squee over my return to the brilliance of the fandom lol!
