[Isn't that a nice, romantic atmosphere over at the beach? The sun is casting a nice jacinth glow, making the water sparkle as it crashes softly on to the beach. The wind is wafting softly, bringing in the sweet aroma of the sea. What can make this setting more romantic is a nice picnic

You think so? [She raises a brow at Soul, a smirk playing at her lips.] How come?

What do you mean "how come"? You sound better than you were a few days ago.

I guess I'm just in a really good mood today, that's all.

[ Katara's sweetheart wouldn't stand her up for anything. Not willing to show his scarred skin to anyone but Katara, Tyr walks along the the beach to her in his fine, tailored, black suit. His short hair has been brushed, but the beach doesn't care; the wind ruffles it as we walks.

He has a bouquet of white carnations tied with a blue silk ribbon and holds it out for his love. ]

Katara... You look beautiful.

[As she sees him approaching, she can't help but smile. Even if Tyr always looked the best when he's with her, his presence always guarantees new feelings within her.

As Katara stands up to get the bouquet, Tyr will be welcomed by a soft kiss and a brief hug. When she pulls away, she looks down at the fresh blossoms she's holding.]

I'm sure you say that to every girl you meet.

[stargathering]

[ He wouldn't mind kissing her more, but he simply lets his hands rest on her delicate waist so he doesn't need to leave her just yet. ]

You're not every girl, though...

Yeah, that's definitely one of the oldest lines in the book. [She says this more as a tease than anything else, which might be more obvious by that giggle. If his hands are on his waist, hers would be around his neck whilst still holding the fragrant bouquet.]

[Maybe this picnic will finally be a chance to wind down. Rita's a working girl woman; days off don't come easy for her. Even if she's still thinking about some of the research she has to do...No, she's going to try and relax a little in the sea breeze. She'll just run through a few calculations while she's at it.

She's dressed a little less formally: yellow sundress and matching hat, plus light brown sandals with a small heel. It's not like she's dressing to impress or anything, right?]

[ And she looks perfectly beautiful and like herself in that simple sundress and hat. While she was much poorer than him, a working-class girl while Tyr was more than well-off, Rita was always a great friend of his. ]

There you are. [ He stands up from his place and holds out his hand for her. ] I'm glad you could make it.

I wouldn't want to miss a day like this.

[It's true that she has to work for what she has, but Rita doesn't usually resent it. She prefers making her own accomplishments, anyway. That's not to say that she thinks any less of Tyr, either--he's friendly and never looks down on her, and she values him.

She takes his hand with a grin and can't resist teasing.] Aren't you pretty hot in that suit? [Not that it looks bad on him.]

It's not so bad. [ Which was mostly honest, as long as he stayed in the shade. Much longer though and he might need to loosen his silk tie and take off the layers of clothing before they clung to his firm, muscular skin.

Tyr himself can't resist taking her hand up to his lips to take that grin off her face. ]

Sheena! [This delicious woman you addressed would be greeting you with a hug now which might be more tightly than Rita's as per usual. Katara has to admit that she had always found Sheena quite stunning in anything he wears. She's still not curious about that body ~underneath~ but she's sure she won't be disappointed. Or, at least, any girl won't.

How Rita snagged this playboy is beyond Katara's comprehension. Right now, she's just happy to see him.] I almost thought you won't make it. [Tease tease~] I'll be sad not to hear any of your compliments, you know.

[Offering him a seat next to her, Katara takes him by the hand.] Well, yeah, I'm still with Tyr. And I know he's still with me. [Or so he says.]

You're too much. [She giggles, obvious delight in her face as her cheeks start to burn pink, a nice contrast against her sun kissed skin. Even her soft laughter makes the sea breeze pale in comparison.]

[Katara never takes her eyes off of him. Is the sun making you hotter, Sheena? Or is the sun becoming hotter because of you?] Oh, come on, Tyr's not a fool. He's a great guy. [Even when he's not here and off playing suck dat face with someone else.]

But, I think he's with Rita? They went off somewhere to rest.
