Interesting month. OBS screwed up its database backups, thus the "suffusion of yellow" below. Towards the tail end, I started selling the DLYM PDF places other than IPR. And GenCon happened inside all of this, and it's always a curious thing to see what effect that has on sales this month and next ( Read more... )

Too bad YGN isn't working out as a channel for you. I think YGN needs to be the AMD to OBS's Intel.

Hope I generated some sales. My SotC games at GenCon seemingly generated a positive response, with about a 50% new player rate. Will be running the same game again at NC and DC Gamedays in October.

I have to admit I'm not super inclined to keep listing new products with my low-seller e-tailers. I'd like to see them succeed, but the additional effort inherent in doing the product setups is prohibitive when they each get me maybe an additional 0.25-1.0% of the market. Once I do setup with IPR and OBS, I've got 95% of the market covered, and that's effort enough... :P

Salutations! I just bought the PDF+Print bundle for DRYH from IPR and first and foremost wanted to tell you how fantastic a game it is. The uniqueness of the setting and mechanics really got me salivating to try it out, and I should have a chance to do just that at a local con in a few weeks. And as a bonus, it's nice to know there's someone else out there that was as blown away by Dark City as I was ( ... )

Yep, that's the intent. PCs are their own worst enemies; death doesn't happen unless they dance too close to the edge of the cliff (exhaustion dominating when they're at Exhaustion 6). In play, this can come really fast or really slow, and the player's hand is at least partially on the throttle, there.

This is also built on the idea that there are so many more interesting nasty things to do to a character than kill him. :)
