George Cotronis

George Cotronis. Man, I do not know where Don't Lose Your Mind would be without him. It'd probably have a more "bargain basement grunge" look like I did with Don't Rest Your Head -- still good, but not great. But since we have George, we have ( this cover mock-up I just finished up. )

art, don't lose your mind, don't rest your head, game chef

That second one is so completely awesome.

The T-Rex is good as well.

Yeah. There were a number of candidates for the "back" cover, but the T-Rex paired very well with the knife-wielding girl.

I'm hoping to do this as a GenCon release (if not before).

Any chance of a print bundle? I've got the PDFs for DRYH, but getting both physical books in a bundle would be awesome.

That might happen down the road, but for the early time when I've got most of my project costs to make back, doing a discounted bundle is potentially challenging.

We'll see how it works out. A Print+PDF bundle is almost a certainty for the product itself, right out the gate.

I love George's stuff. A large part of why I'm probably going to do the werewolf game next is so that I can use George.

PS: I'd love to know what you think if you get the chance to read my Game Chef game.

Yeah, no doubt man.

I've still got your GC game on my to-do list. Waugh. :)

I keep meaning to ask, what's the short summary blurb for DLYM? I think I must have had my head up my fundament when the memo came round. (It happens sometimes, as you know.)

I'm still working up the "blurb copy" on that. Here's what I wrote in my State of the Hat post:

Don't Lose Your Mind

This will be the first supplement for Don't Rest Your Head, and will delve deep into the nature of madness talents and making the most of insanity in the Mad City. Benjamin Baugh of Arc Dream's Monsters and Other Childish Things is point man on this project.

Resources tied to this project: Ben on writing; Ryan Macklin on editing; George Cotronis on art; myself on system finalization, layout, print production, etc, etc.
