Yahoo Groups is kind of annoying. The authentication, the needs-an-update interface, etc.

This has zero overhead. Folks get to where they need to go the moment they click on the link you send them. They have FAST access to expressing their availability onto the range of candidate dates.

Took me about 30 seconds to become a diehard fan.

For pure simplicity and total lack of required registration, this tool is brilliant. More important than being a competent sharing too, it's one people will use because it utterly lacks overhead. Thanks Fred!

Yeah, you've identified the winning aspect. That zero overhead thing is a killer.

My manager introduced me to something a little bit similar: www.doodle.ch. I've been using it quite a lot to see what dates people in a group can make for a meeting. It's prettier than your one, but I don't know whether the functionality is the same.

Yeah, I knew about doodle, but I chose this one; I liked its zero overhead.

At my work the reason we've started to switch from doodle to whenisgood is timezone support - since we're often coordinating across a few timezones. Also, the poll setup is a bit faster - but in the end they serve the same wonderful purpose.
