Rob Speaks on Dresden

rob_donoghue has posted up his fourth "Designing Dresden" article. It's been a solid series so far, and well worth looking into if you're a fan of running games in the real world, or in cities. You'll find the fourth Designing Dresden here: http://www.

Neat indeed. Were I to distill Baltimore down into a few key sorts of places, I'd definitely include inner harbor (for touristy stuff), fell's pt for drunkeny stuff (the homeless alway seem to have a story to tell), downtown where the highrises are and business gets done. The blue light district. Okay, really, there are lots of them and really they're corners, or a couple blocks peppered around generally, but for purposes of abstraction, one or two probably is enough for story. And then if you needed them, there's a small area filled with various ethnicities in general. If you need a greektown it's there (much to my suprise). And then of course, where we live which is like little georgetown or something. Of interest over in the area I live is that everyone seems to have a dog, like everyone. It feels wierd being the only cat-people for blocks ( ... )
