I'm new here

I'm restoring a 74' super beetle
the battery is dead
and I know nothing about batteries
so I was wondering if someone could sugjest a specific brand of battery that works good for beetles
so

Any brand will do, so long as it is the correct type of battery. :3

Well, there's the right kind and the wrong kind. [/intentionally obtuse] X3

I should have worded my previous comment better. I just meant, make sure that the battery is the correct size. If you go to Kraagen, PepBoys, or AutoZone, you can just tell them the make and year of your car and they'll give you the correct battery for it. I believe ProStart is the cheapest brand at PepBoys and this is what I've had in my Dub for about six years. It does its job.
