Oh, this is so wonderful! I absolutely love hurt/comfort, and this pushes all my buttons, it really does! Even just the little mentions within the bigger pictures, like Lockwood being too thin and Akthar being small, were brilliant touches.
I also love that you've managed to include all of them as well, and the fact that each and every one of them (to me at least) reads perfectly in character. I particularly enjoyed the Scripps one - the moment Dakin held his hand was so lovely! Thank you so much for this!
Thank you so much! And I'm so glad they seemed in character and such. :) My instinct of course was to default to the two or three boys I feel like I understand, but I thought it would be better to at least try to have them all, and I'm glad the attempt worked. :)
Absolutely gorgeous. I adore how you showed that they all look out for each other. The Aktar and Timms one was particularly sweet as in my head they are adorable. Also the Scripps and Dakin one is just perfect. All in all, brilliant stuff!
Thank you! As I said, I am the biggest sucker for h/c, but it seems like so much of it is used to further romantic relationships, and I really wanted to play around with it in a more platonic way. --and I could continue to ramble on about that for ages and ages. So my point is: I'm glad that the looking out for each other stood out to you, because that was the goal. :D
And I am also glad you liked the Scripps-Dakin one! It was originally going to be Posner because I find him so easy to write and I love his and Scripps's friendship, but then I decided to try it with Dakin because writing him terrifies me, and I figured he had to have at least one section where he didn't act like a total ass...
