I really feel like this has been way too long in coming, and finally got my butt in gear to gather all this stuff together when I saw the definite revival of all the fantastic Ryo/Uchi love. ^^ They haven't changed one bit, and if anything, I think they've grown even closer.
Under the cut is everything I could find, divided into pictures, videos, and written word (primarily interviews and a couple of Ryo's jwebs). I did my best to include things that are concrete - none of that "they do x-thing the same way", or "they're wearing the same clothes in these two different photos". Don't need that kind of 'evidence' with these two! Plus if I included all that as well, this thing would be way too long.
And help me pimp it out, guys! Not just because people need to see the Ryo/Uchi love, but also I want everyone to comment with anything I may have missed. Their love is epic, and so should this manifesto be. XD
This manifesto is ongoing. I am constantly adding new things as I find them or as they occur. ^^ And I just wanted to say I'm sorry I stopped replying to comments! It just got to be too much, you're all so very awesome, and I'm glad people are enjoying this! Converts are excellent, too. :D

Like I mentioned above, I tried to pare my epic collection of Ryo/Uchi pictures to ones I think show their relationship the best. I didn't include your typical "we're standing next to each other" or even meaningful looks (okay, well, some of those got through). Actually I'm not even going to comment on a lot of these, because I think they speak for themselves. XD
Sorry I didn't take the time to remove text/watermarks/make them pretty! Sorting, cropping and resizing was enough work as it is. XD Credit for these scans goes to websites like Nishikido Island, PinkBaby and Hadaka no Johnny's (or, y'know, anything else you can see in watermarks), as well as LJ communities like boys_paper, kanjani8, news_jpop, ryo_uchi, ru_l_e, the list goes on... and, naturally, Vendy! Also, if anyone wants the full, uncropped versions of any of these feel free to ask~. But mostly please do not hotlink. It took a long time to upload, I don't want to do it again. ;_;
Unlike the rest, I felt these needed a little more explanation...
Now, this picture is pretty cute in its own right, see? But if you take into account a few other things it gets even cuter: this picture is actually from the offshoot section of the magazine,
so it's not from any photoshoot in particular. If you look at the picture in the thumbnail to the right, it's from the same magazine, and the shoot Uchi was in (you can tell because of the shirt he's wearing, the background, stuff like that). But you'll notice! Ryo's not in that shoot, that was a V.West shoot. So it wasn't that they happened to be in the same place and snuggled up together - Ryo had to wander his way over from a different shoot/set entirely to find Uchi and lie down with him.
According to multiple concert reports from Kanjani8's August 5th Tokyo Dome appearance, not only was Ryo the one to hop off the stage and drag Uchi back on (whether or not this was ever supported by JE is still kind of unclear), he also insisted on taking off his tour shirt and giving it to Uchi so he could wear it. And just in case there's any question whose tour shirt Uchi's wearing - Ryo was the only one counting down the shows in those marker lines on the front of his shirt, which Uchi's obviously wearing.
When the rest of Kanjani8 reappeared for the second (third?) encore, it took Ryo and Uchi a little longer to appear, with Ryo dragging Uchi along by his hand.
If I'm remembering what a friend told me correctly, the quote in Ryo's speech bubble basically says "If it's Uchi we're talking about, I know him down to the shape of his ass." Ryo has a tendency to comment on how well he knows various parts of Uchi's body, from his ass to his fingernails to the scar on the side of Uchi's stomach from his surgery.
And as ashkt translated, Uchi's bubble says "No matter how I look like, I can appear in front of Ryo without feeling embarrassed."

Especially (Nishikido) Ryo-chan, during my suspension he kept in contact with me almost everyday. I had been close with Ryo-chan since before the groups were created and we were both put in both NEWS and Kanjani8, two groups. We were really allllways together like siblings. Yet still due to my error it turned out as it has. There were times when we cried together, and I complained to him more than a few times. He gave me encouragement and supported me throughout this journey.
Uchi: (on letters Ryo wrote him during his suspension) When I opened the seal there was a collection of about five really long letters. ‘I’m with you too much, so it’s embarrassing to tell you on the phone or in an e-mail, so I’ve put my feelings in these letters’ it said. Ryo-chan and I, since we’ve exhausted what there is to know about each other there’s a part that makes it embarrassing to say some things straight out. Something like even if you call about it, you’ll end up hanging up after just one minute. But, in the letters showed a Ryo-chan so different from normal I couldn’t have imagined, his passionate thoughts were written there. I really cried a lot. I was saying ‘Don’t write emotional things like this!’ while crying, though I was laughing just a bit too (lol). I was so happy I called him immediately. But he was like “What are you crying about! If you’re going to do that, I’m hanging up!” and as expected the phone call ended in about a minute (lol).

Ryo: The nail on Uchi’s thumb is really big. Not only that but he can move his finger abnormally fast. To start with, what kind of friend looks at his friend’s fingernails- right? This is pretty secret information (lol). I know about the scar from his surgery on the right side of his stomach too (lol).

"No I didn't!" match before practically kissing. After separated (;_;), they said they did that because they "Couldn't think of anything else to do", in an attempt to make it funny. Because all best friends default to trying to kiss each other when they're at a loss for what else to do, right?
[Ryo and Uchi With a Baby], or "Why they'll make great parents some day."Okay, this isn't much of a pairing thing, but you can't deny the total dad/mom dynamic right there. XD And yes, I did mean Uchi as the dad and Ryo as the mom.

There’s a scene where he whispers something into my ear, and he said something that had nothing to do with the drama, something from a really long time ago that only the two of us would know (lol). That upset my composure. Looking at that, Ryo-chan hasn’t changed at all. It was really fun to be able to work with him for the first time in so long. In my life I will never forget that I was able to star in, and costar with Ryo-chan in this drama.
Non-No, Feb.2008 (also from daelite, full text [here])Uchi: The members of NEWS and of Kanjani8, everyone called me or sent mails “Are you okay?” asking about me. Especially (Nishikido) Ryo-chan, during my suspension he kept in contact with me almost everyday. I had been close with Ryo-chan since before the groups were created and we were both put in both NEWS and Kanjani8, two groups. We were really allllways together like siblings. Yet still due to my error it turned out as it has. There were times when we cried together, and I complained to him more than a few times. He gave me encouragement and supported me throughout this journey.
Uchi: (on letters Ryo wrote him during his suspension) When I opened the seal there was a collection of about five really long letters. ‘I’m with you too much, so it’s embarrassing to tell you on the phone or in an e-mail, so I’ve put my feelings in these letters’ it said. Ryo-chan and I, since we’ve exhausted what there is to know about each other there’s a part that makes it embarrassing to say some things straight out. Something like even if you call about it, you’ll end up hanging up after just one minute. But, in the letters showed a Ryo-chan so different from normal I couldn’t have imagined, his passionate thoughts were written there. I really cried a lot. I was saying ‘Don’t write emotional things like this!’ while crying, though I was laughing just a bit too (lol). I was so happy I called him immediately. But he was like “What are you crying about! If you’re going to do that, I’m hanging up!” and as expected the phone call ended in about a minute (lol).

This next example is a little more ambiguous, but I think it's worth including, anyway; in Ryo's 2006.08.03 jweb entry, he spent a little time ruminating over the different colors of the rainbow, and particularly how it relates to Kanjani8. Towards the end, he says:Rainbow is made of what colors?
It’s said to be 7 colors but I don’t believe so.
Maybe not as direct as the other entry, but I feel that in a roundabout way, he's also referring to Uchi's missing color from their Kanjani8 rainbow.

Ryo: Meeting Uchi for filming on location for the first time in so long, there was something a little embarrassing about it. There’s that he’s the lead actor in this drama, but also that I gave him a lot encouraging phone calls. Emailed him too.
Uchi: You really encouraged me! In this drama you play the role of my older brother who I respect. Kenichi is to Shinji someone who even if he works hard he can’t catch up with.

Ryo: In real life we kind of have a relationship like that too. That you respect me.
Uchi: You said it straight out! (lol) No, but I’m really jealous of how cool your role is in this drama. I do link it with your real self. So it was really easy for me to get into the younger brother role. I do really respect you, and I love you.

Uchi: When I was hospitalized in the past for lung pneumothorax, Ryo-chan was always coming to visit me. At that time he was like “You’re bored, right” so bought me some video games.
Ryo: That’s because you were saying you wanted “Shutokou Battle” so much. Also, porn books!
Uchi: That really saved me! (lol) You went out of your way to get about 5 books for me, and brought some DVDs too.
Ryo: Because we’re guys (lol). Ah, you still haven’t returned those DVDs.
Uchi: I haven’t had the time! If I get the time I’ll return them.
Ryo: Uchi, you’ve treated me to meals but I can’t think of something you bought me. Maybe I just don’t remember?
Uchi: We’ve both treated each other to meals.
Ryo: Like “Today I’ll pay”, “No- today I will!” kind of thing. We’re just normal! (lol)
Uchi: I’ve received many batons from Ryo-chan. When I was separated from work and received encouragement from him. There were many moments I thought “I should just give up (on work) already” but Ryo-chan saved me at those times.
Ryo: We’d call and email each other.
Uchi: After receiving words from him there were countless times I cried. It was a baton of salvation.
Ryo: If I hadn’t been around, you wouldn’t be here now would you (lol). But what I said to Uchi then… I can’t say it here (lol). I mean it’s not something you say to people. So Uchi, take it to your grave with you. I’ll do the same!
Uchi: Yup. I was able to start moving one step forward, and I’d like to one day return that favor to Ryo-chan.

*It's important to note the article starts with "Spontaneously holding hands with full face smiles!", meaning for those of you who think Uchi and Ryo were asked to hold hands just for the sake of this shoot... it's pretty much stated they weren't. ^^ It can be assumed it was totally their choice to pose like that.
Ryo: The nail on Uchi’s thumb is really big. Not only that but he can move his finger abnormally fast. To start with, what kind of friend looks at his friend’s fingernails- right? This is pretty secret information (lol). I know about the scar from his surgery on the right side of his stomach too (lol).
TL: You two got to star together for the first time in awhile.
Uchi: I was happy about that. I was happy to be able to appear myself, but to have Ryo-chan at my side too somehow gave me peace of mind.

[The Infamous Almost-Kiss], or "Why Ryo/Uchi fangirls kinda hate Kusano."A rough translation of this revealed that they were arguing about absolutely nothing at all (Ryo accused Uchi of saying something along the lines of he was tired, and therefore wasn't going to give his all at the concert)... and they basically get into a "Yes you did!" "No I didn't!" match before practically kissing. After separated (;_;), they said they did that because they "Couldn't think of anything else to do", in an attempt to make it funny. Because all best friends default to trying to kiss each other when they're at a loss for what else to do, right?
[Ryo and Uchi With a Baby], or "Why they'll make great parents some day."Okay, this isn't much of a pairing thing, but you can't deny the total dad/mom dynamic right there. XD And yes, I did mean Uchi as the dad and Ryo as the mom.
[Ryo Feeds Uchi Lobster], or "Like hell that wasn't meant to be sexual."I... there isn't much that can be said about this. Just watch it. If only for Hina and Subaru's absolutely amazing reactions afterwards. XD
[Isshun no Kaze ni Nare Press Con], or "How Ryo can be seme and uke at the same time."C'mon, the way they talk around two people standing between them like they're not even there is absolutely adorable. Especially Uchi just laughing and shaking his head at whatever lame thing I'm sure Ryo just said. And of course, the arm thing!
[Ryo Makes a Grab for Uchi's Ass], or "It's totally okay to grope your boyfriend on television."This happens right at the end, and I must admit even I was skeptical at first - but you really can't deny that Ryo's arm scoots over and Uchi jumps, makes an adorable face, then tries to cover it up with a huge slightly awkward grin. Ryo tries for a subtle ass-grabbing and totally fails. **video removed, will replace if I find it again!
