The lack of co-worker interaction is a big irritation at my school this year. Even though they can all speak English, every meal is pretty much all Korean. Its just such an exhausting alienating experience I'm just going to eat lunch with random non-English teachers with a tiny bit of English or a lot of effort or by myself.
I can say my experience is far better than this teachers, the kids are for the most part, great as well.
The reasons I would not renew is more of a general desire to go back to Canada instead of the school. But some of the problems in general do exist.
I think I will try to mention the alienation issue and have a bit of a stronger introduction to all the teachers to help my distant future replacement out a little bit.
I could see my school as a good one for someone who wants to stay a few years at one school though.
