So, Cake and the Virgin College Mega Tour are at my school today, and it's free to all students which is cool, but they are setting up this "outdoor village" with the promotional booths where they hand out little packets of Dentyne Ice and crap. They are taking over my small, open, rural campus, and it's really a weird juxtaposition to see them in

tickets were $22 for students down here, $26 for the general public. fortunately for me there's no expiration date on my student id. cake was so-so, about what i'd expect from them live. gomez, another of my top 5 favorite bands, was spectacular, reaffirming them as the best live band i've seen. since you asked
