Any child of a teacher has probably at one time or another been roped into helping the parent by grading papers. This goes double for any child graduating with an English degree.

Amen on the breathe/breath thing. God does that drive me up the freakin' wall. And hey, English Lit major, here. With a minor in archaeology. How much more useless can you get? XD

Jeremy Irons as the Patrician. Hmmmn. I have such a strong idea of Vetinari in my head, it's going to take A LOT to make me buy an attempt by any actor, no matter how good. And they're going to screw up Moist big time, I can feel it in my bones. I'm still going to see the movies, though. How could I resist?

No way! I was an English lit major with a history minor! Buddies in uselessness :D :D

I'm opting for the "this isn't really Vetinari this is the thrashing-out-the-character-before-Vetinari" option. Although he might be billed as Vetinari, so this could be troublesome. And I'll still watch them too. It's impossible. I'd like to see people try to resist the siren call of live-action Discworld.

I did indeed! Well, I saw it when it came out around Christmas. Still have part 2 on my old laptop ...I think. But that one gives me a lot of hope for future Discworld movies. Especially since they nailed Death so well :D
