AU after 11x16. Dean died at his own hand, his soul taken to the Empty by the reaper Billie, but Sam lived. Then Dean’s body vanished from the morgue and, hours later, was sighted with a strange, tall woman in a black dress, killing parishioners at a church. Now Sam’s lost, wondering how he could possibly rescue Dean from Amara’s grasps, when Crowley appears outside of the Bunker with information about what kept Sam alive with a bullet hole in his gut: he’s genetically the Boy King. He’s been immortal since Lucifer “endorsed” him with his knife.
Sam’s got work to do.
