The Good: I had my interview this morning and I didn't screw it up (I think). The job I'm applying for is the same one I'm doing now, only permanent, which as I like the people I work with and (shock! horror!) enjoy the job would be a good thing. If I get it...

The Bad: I don't know when I'll know if I've got the job, I'm still worrying about ( Read more... )

*SENDS UBER HUG BACK* I've just listened to your message again (Dad's gone for the paper I had to do something while I was waiting for him and my cup of tea) and was reminded of how no one can put a smile on my face like you <333

Now to tackle shopping on a December Saturday in Solihull!

Boo!
Ouch!

And I bought myself an advent calendar yesterday. I'm holding out on opening the first box...

*weeps* Have just returned from the shopping trip having completely failed to find an advent calender anywhere! Well... there were some but they had Barbie on the front and were bright pink and...errr... no >_<;

Barbie and overabundance of pink (when not associated with Kimeru or Nagyama's Blossam) is not Christmas. Nor advent. You have my sympathy.

*takes sympathy and tries to nibble it* Bother, it doesn't appear to be edible... or can I wear it? *tries draping sympathy over her shoulders and bounces over to the mirror*

I hate it when there's Christmas shopping that can't be done online. XD;;;

...and good luck with the weekend, and the writing, and the job, etc. I really hope I can have a productive weekend too... So much to doooo... @__@ Though I don't think going without sleep would help. ^_~ Well, maybe at first, but... That second day... XD;;;

Well I did what I could, the rest will have to be done during my lunch hour next week I guess... and so far this weekend has actually been relaxing, I think I'm going to give Kime the credit for that one - it's kind of difficult to feel stressed when he's singing at you and smiling and looking cute while Gomoto eats ice cream XD

*nods* Kime has calmed me much this weekend too. <333 There really is something about his smile. XD And his laugh. Guh. *__*

What do you mean, you're too old for anyone to buy you an advent calendar? I still get given one every year! More to the point, so does my Grandpa and he's 83.

No one buys me an advent calender *sniffs* it's as simple as that!

It's just that no one loves you. Simple as that!

So don't expect something in the mail, which is unfortunately not an advent calendar but a Christmas card and was sent on Fridayish

And AGE is irrelevant when it comes to advent calendars! *righteous anger!*

Oooooohh really? Heh, I bought cards on Saturday but there very un-Christmas-y and feature pretty sunsets instead ^__^

Age should be irrelevant, but for some reason it isn't (at least with my family) *sniffs again* But it doesn't matter because The Sister has informed me to expect something when she comes back from uni! ^_____^
