Heeeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty! I got some nice eggs for youuuu~

Marmite? Well, I'm still pretty unsure as to what it is, so I found a helpful tutorial online. And I figured I ought to share these pearls of wisdom.

"Marmite is dark brown-colored savory spread made from the yeast that is a by-product of the brewing industry." Lovely, so when they clean out the kegs, the sludge at the bottom is merely repackaged and sold to Europeans at a profit. Lovely.

"Marmite may be stored at room temperature, even after the jar has been opened. Large jars will last months-- even years--without any spoilage. (Old marmite can turn hard and lose its gooey spreadability, though.)" Am I the only one who is more than slightly disurbed by the fact it can last YEARS having been OPENED? I mean, that's got to include something that can't be processed by bacteria (which consequently have been able to use just about every known chemical as a fuel source or nutrient). This means Marmite is, for lack of a better term, unnatural ( ... )

*laughs* Marmite does last forever, the jar at my parent's house is probably only ever used when I come home so...

Wait, drinking it? Ok, I wouldn't go that far! Although I know that if there's an empty jar my mother will fill it with hot water and use it as an ingrediant to make gravy...

And now I need breakfast...mmmm... marmite on toast XP
