And they don’t just limit themselves to their own species, either. One bull down this way was notorious for his preference for blondes, a cow for her pushiness, and a younger cow with the nickname ‘Snowflake’ for her interest in anything male.

yup - I overheard a keeper complaining about it. She was blonde.

We saw some penguins in NZ in a sanctuary where they've built underground tunnels you creep through in silence to peek out at the nests. Unfortunately I suffered a violent hay fever attack while in the tunnels and was worried I had caused the extinction of the species.
