Simplify, simplify, simplify

Well, my two weeks notice at Subway is finally up and I'm off the schedule next week. I feel so much lighter, so much happier. 6 months... oh god. That was too much.

Something REALLY fucked up is going to have have to happen before I work fast food again.

Classes are still under control, damage is minimal.

I am envious of your subway free future.

10:30 at classic lanes. At least I think that's what it's called. the one on North Walnut.

dude, i worked at mcdonald's for 3 years, because i actually needed to sustain my part of a household and pay bills. i got lucky and got the job i have now (which i love). fast food sucks, but i had to giggle when you said that 6 months of fast food was too much...i mean, 1 DAY of working fast food is too much, but unfortunately some people are forced to stay trapped.

I know... I'm glad I was was never forced to do it. Right now I'm debt free and have a little money in the bank (although certainly not much) so I suppose its all good.

I never worked fast food, because I'm so weird about smells and eating and things that I'd probably never eat anything, ever.

But congrats on getting out, I know a few people who have worked for them, and they hated it. Any plans for a new job?

Definately: more pay, less stress.

I think I've found one but I don't want to walk about it because that always seems to jinks me. It might not work because of a second 8 weeks class.

It's good to get out of fast food while you can. If you don't even have to work it then I recommend not. You need to come to Purdue sometime.

are you going to school there now?

And I'm definately down for a visit. I might be free in two weeks-ish.

Fast food is a horrible, fruitful experience for you to look ever backward upon.

You're lucky and damned.

Yes, I feel that way. I feel like I'm always going to value money more than I ever should have and live below my means with an inhuman drive.
