Women as bread winners: the result of GOP policies and massive corporate layoffs

The GOP hand-wringing over the revelation than more American women are now the primary bread-winners clearly displays a stunning lack of self-awareness and a dangerous degree of misunderstanding regarding the consequences of their own policies. Isn't it possible that this trend shows the decline of high paying jobs across the white collar job

Around where I live, I swear all the women make more than the men because the women are all in the nursing business or some aspect of hospital/medical care while the men drive around towing a trailer with a lawnmower hoping to get a job cutting someones grass. How many people do we really need mowing lawns? If they aren't mowing a lawn, the only other job is at the Wal-Mart stocking shelves at 2 a.m.

I've been making way more money than my husband (thanks to having a steady, if not spectacular, income) for most of the past 10 years. And he's damn glad for it. Stupid GOP.
