The GOP hand-wringing over the revelation than more American women are now the primary bread-winners clearly displays a stunning lack of self-awareness and a dangerous degree of misunderstanding regarding the consequences of their own policies. Around where I live, I swear all the women make more than the men because the women are all in the nursing business or some aspect of hospital/medical care while the men drive around towing a trailer with a lawnmower hoping to get a job cutting someones grass. How many people do we really need mowing lawns? If they aren't mowing a lawn, the only other job is at the Wal-Mart stocking shelves at 2 a.m.

I've been making way more money than my husband (thanks to having a steady, if not spectacular, income) for most of the past 10 years. And he's damn glad for it. Stupid GOP.
