Thank you! I loved being more descriptive and hope I can translate that aspect of my writing to other fics...it's something I've been trying to incorporate into everything I write now that i'm done being stupid about words lol.

I still think it's crazy that we essentially had the same idea for a fic, btw. Great minds and all that... :P

I've read it last week on the LFWS site and I loved it. I wouldn't have guessed that you're the author because the main characters were Teyla and John. The description of the fight scene was very well done, I could visualize it easily.

I know that I usually stick to sparky fics, which is exactly why I signed up for the LFWS tourney. I wanted to stretch my writing muscles and develop some of the other characters. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
