You haven't heard from your mother, have you? I... Well, I shouldn't like to say, but you are her duaghter, and I feel that I must be honest. She seems to grow more alien by the week.
I hope for your sake that all is well, and this is all a misunderstanding.
Thank you for your concern, it's much appreciated. I've written to her, but she hasn't said anything, it's been a few days. I know my owl got there, she came back emtpy-clawed, I'm afraid.
How exactly is she acting? What about is so out of the ordinary, besides a bunch of Pureblood ranting nonsense? or is that all? I'm sorry for involving you in my messes when we've just met, it's not my intention, but I'd be grateful for any insight at all...
I don't know that I can quite describe her. The problem is certainly very much evident in her actions and words--snubbing non-Purebloods, and the like. She has also taken to alternately pacing the office and holing herself up inside her cubicle. From what I have heard, she has developed a habit of laughing to herself, playing with her hair; so other, nearer colleagues have said.
It is no bother, I assure you, to share these details. I only hope that they do not bring too much pain. After all, this may only be some intense level of stress. We're all feeling the pressure of war here, of course.
If there is anything at all that I may do to be of further assistance, do let me know.
