Thursday morning, just as Anna had been beginning to wonder what exactly she was supposed to do now, if she needed to move out of the dorms or what, she had gotten a letter from Portalocity, apologizing for any inconvenience and requesting her to report that evening for a reroute to her correct final destination. Kenzi made sure to make it there in time, and trekked into the Preserve with hands in pockets, and a couple shinies in same.

"Hey, Anna."

"Kenzi!" Anna exclaimed. "Hi there. I guess this is it, huh?"

"Yeeeah," Kenzi said with some regret. "You okay with this? I mean, I know you've hated being stuck on the island..."

"I guess so," Anna said. "I don't really see how else this was ever supposed to end. I mean, I'm still dead." She shrugged, like, 'what are you gonna do?'
