Looking fantastic! I might be tempted to put in more bones, but it's certainly working as it is...

In case something does break, where are you? I haz spare sewing machines...

I'm in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
(Also: this project has finished! Everything worked out fine. Thanks for offering though!)

You're welcome! I'm trying to re-home a couple, but I think Rotterdam may be a tad far from England for me to send you one!

Woohoo! As those of us of Dutch heritage in the US say - 'you ain't much if you ain't Dutch!'

Awesome! Although I must complain about that "undressed" picture - I believe you're showing some ankle there, madam!

Sorry!
I love to do "undressed" pictures as they show in what layers the costume comes and in which order you put it on.
I might be a better girl next time, but I make no promises!

Thank you! I really couldn't describe if I had a trick for doing them. I guess it's just that practice makes sort of perfect!

"Argh! How I wish I just had bones in twenty different sizes available to me! If there's one thing I loathe, it's the endless shaping of bones before dipping them. And dipping bones is a PITA as well!"

I have a source here which carries two different widths of steel bones in lengths from.... 4.5" as I recall to...18" (?) Coated, already rounded on the ends and already dipped.
Let me know if you think you might be interested. They'll ship, although there probably would be an additional charge for the overseas postage/freight.

I can order from Vena Cava at any time, and because I still have a business they wouldn't charge me VAT (UK and the Netherlands are both EEC countries). It's just that at the time of making these, I still had a 10 meter roll of 7mm flat steels lying around and I think it's wasteful not to use it.

Ah. My misunderstanding; a thousand pardons.

Have you considered using something less prone, well, to drip, for your bone dip?
