Well, we do know that married couples lose all decent plotlines
3 words: Chandler and Monica. They never lost decent plotlines and they managed to stay fresh and amusing all through the show. At least in my opinion. But overall, call me naive, but I do believe that in hands of skillful writers a married couple can stay interesting.
But many thanks for the laughs, even if I'm getting bitter about these two myself now.
i also bring to the table lily and marshall from 'how i met your mother' who, despite one very realistic breakup, have remained solid AND INTERESTING. so damn cute.
True, although I do think that their S3 storyline could've had a bit more substance. In terms of sitcoms there's also Dharma and Greg and Mad About You that were both constructed around the idea of a freshly married couple and the ups and downs of 2 people starting their lives together.
Honestly. I've seen quite a lot of break-ups on TV and in the movies. I've read about quite a lot. I've been in quite a lot. This one? Hands down the lamest.
okay so I left the small ball of denial and. well. laughing at your comments certainly makes this feel slightly less painful. I say slightly less painful because the writers clearly think that we only want B/B happy. screw B/B (or at least till we get decent writers back/angela and hodgins back.) nothing left to do but hold out hope that they’ll have gotten over themselves by episode 4.
the thing that makes me feel really bad about this? poor tj and michaela had to act this crap. I mean we just had to watch it but they had to rehearse it and act it over and over again. I bet they're just as utterly confused as we are.
back to the point of this: your picspam is the best thing that happened to the second half of this episode. fact. I mean you made me laugh at pictures detailing their break up.
Screw B/B period. I have absolutely no leftover interest in them anymore and I'm done pretending I care.
Worse than TJ and Michaela acting this crap out? They still have to promote the show and say how it's an interesting development for their characters and how it's gonna be amazing and beneficent.
