So, apparently it's been something like eleven weeks since last I posted. Which is somewhat ridiculous, excepting that you look at my other LJ, which hasn't seen an update in well over two years. Sweet! What time did you want to go and do you want to grab dinner first? Man, I can't wait to see this movie - those creepy button eyes have stuck with me ever since I first read the book years ago.

Yes, but they cut down the singing and added too much peewee hockey, for my taste.

I do want to try the Polish restaurant, despite their unhealthy levels of kielbasa. You start talking to me about classical pianists from Syria and well, it's not like the deal hadn't already been sealed - you don't need to keep sweetening the pot.

Mm, I hope the ticker tape parade wasn't too much to clean up after. And I expect to see the Youtube video link soon.

Chicago was awesome. Seriously, I loved the city, for all of the one day I got to spend there. There's just a fantastic feel to it, and you drive down the streets and it's like one French Quarter after another spilling into each other, unending. Only with less drinking in the streets. On the plus side, they sell hard liquor in their gas stations on Sundays no less and for all that I was born and raised a Yankee, it became quite apparent to me that I've spent too long in the South because I'll admit to having gotten more than a little excited over that. Also, their alcohol is cheap ( ... )
