Very cute. :) I like Ayame, and the skipping through life was really well done; I always had a good idea of *when* we were, so that was really cool. :D

o_O... waaah, I suppose the mystery pairing is, dang it I hope no one gets spoiled but I'm writing it anyway, Iruka and (name starts with an E and ends with a U), if it is him all I have to say is wow. Since I do like Iruka being tossed around in many relationships this one for some strange reason never crossed my sensors but it is very possible with the mystery lover hanging around Konohamaru.

As for the way you set up the story with Ayame the ramen stand girl's perspective, very different, especially since its from a female civillain's point of view as she grows up.

I'm also wondering what the heck happened to Iruka and his mystery lover, did they die in a mission, or pull a Sarutobi and are still alive, even past the ripe age of thirty?

Very different and good fic. ^_^
