About a Dynasty comeback, I can understand that Jack would like to play Blake this time, the badass Blake of the beginnings, not the soft one of later years. But in that case, Joan couldn´t play Alexis again. It doesn´t matter how beautiful she still looks, the viewers would keep on seeing mother and son, don´t you think?

I think it makes perfect sense that he'd want to play Blake, I agree. It's obvious he loves playing this kind of characters. :D I also agree about the fact that the viewers would never stop seeing them as mother/son, this is why I think he is sure a Dynasty reboot is never going to happen. It's kind of sad really, they could have done it while she is alive and well. And even though he joked about playing Blake, I think he would be epic as Steven Carrington again, an older and wiser Steven would obviously be a very sexy Steven. :P

There was an interview during the Monte Carlo TV festival where he was saying he'd be back if the script was right, so I guess he thought there was a possibility back then.
