Those scenes with Stana, well, yes he really owns them. I'm not sure how intentional it was to have so much chemistry between them but it makes things even more interesting.
And of course handcuffs. *happy sigh*
It would make sense that he would get out of prison... all disgruntled because the scandal ruined his chances to be president. That could be very bad news for Beckett. Well if that's not what happens, it will be what happens in my head!
Also I thought about it and you could also say, Senator Bracken, RIP. Resides In Prison. XD
It was epic, if rushed. They needed to make room for the wedding finale and other story lines in S7. They were renewed. Yay! Thanks for the pics and clips. :)
I'm beginning to think that his Scandal job might also be a reason for that! Yes, I read that a lighter season finale was always their plan, and they couldn't make this one a two-parter. I wonder why they didn't want to wait until the next season for this arc. Hmmm. But I'm glad, because I wanted to see him as Bracken again. XD
I had no doubts about the renewal! :D It's still going strong and perhaps they might think of bringing him back if they know when their last season will be.
Edit: I was just reading a review and I remembered your comment about the other storylines when I read this:
"I don't know about you, but I think "Veritas" would have felt a lot more organic if a few minor B stories from the last several episodes had been a few minutes less (or thrown out entirely) to be replaced by scenes of Castle and Beckett going on stakeouts and tailing suspects to unravel Bracken's organization."
As I said over there, I am beginning to think Jack Coleman's Scandal job is one of the reasons why we didn't have a Bracken episode

Yes totally agreed on that! Jack Coleman things are always good things, no matter how many minutes they are. XD I really hope he'll have more recurring roles! It's always better with arcs, you know. :P OMG we are all discussing the Heroes Reborn stuff and I am not surprised NBC wants to bring the familiar faces to the show. This is how you lure your old, dedicated fanbase in. XD But I don't think these appeareances will be more than cameos and I hope I am wrong about that. I just....don't think I can say to any HRG appearance because seriously...He's an iconic character and the no.1 reason why 'this' exists. XD

I totally have faith on you and I don't know why people consider The Avengers movie as epic entertainment. XD
And the important stuff: Please tell me what happened. :( 2014 is being cool regarding fannish excitement, but the rest just sucks... *hugs*
I'm with you on the eye acting, especially that sequence of screencaps you have of his face once the jig was up. Amazing.
Even though the elephants and the random memory of her old mentor were way too convenient, the arrest scene really was great and validating. Super appropriate since Bracken's been such a hands-free bastard this whole time!
Whether or not he's convicted (probably not), his political career is over. Which is GREAT, cause I personally think he'll snap and go after Beckett and Castle, and he'll do it with sociopathic vengeance! How great a plot would that be? He can get his hands dirty (hire fewer idiots?) and use his elaborate cover up skillz to set up an elaborate revenge plot. Maybe this is just wild imagining but I think it could be an awesome direction for his character and would blow up the storyline :D
I seriously love this kind of acting and he's been great at this! <3 I love the Heroes season one scene where he was furious when he learned that the quarterback tried to rape his bb. Amazing...
And she had those memories when she was unconscious! Too convenient, but sometimes stress is a great motivator. :P
That's true, he won't be a candidate for presidency anymore and I agree, he'd want reveeeeenge! Ugh too bad, he seems like he was very fond of her. XD But it'd be awesome to watch him being this even scarier guy...Guh, he'd be perfect. I can imagine what he'd want to do to her and it's making me happeh probably for some unhealthy reason! :D I really hope they go that way and maybe if they know when they'll end, they would? I like your thinking...
YES. He was so great in that scene! All the emotions.
he seems like he was very fond of her. That's why it would make such a good revenge plot! ;) He's pretty twisted, he's just always been able to be genial and cover up his acts of brutality till now. And I like the idea of him doing it himself, since he's had minions do everything for him until now.
