Agreed about the lack of resisting - you can see his mouth open the second she brings her wrist to his mouth!

It takes a real man to be carried princess-style out of the room by his daughter.

Maybe he WANTS to become a vampire... so he can be closer to his daughter and work towards eradicating all the other vampires.

...that's what I'd do.
