I dunno why, but the moon always looks cooler at the beach. As often as not it starts out red and then turns orange/gold before turning it's usual "moon color". I tried to get some pics of it when it was red, but I guess it's just too dim for lil camera to pick up, so you'll just have to settle for this one:

I hadn't seen him for almost two weeks, but apparently he's still out there. One of these times I'm going to get up the nerve to go outside and try to get some pics with the flash.
