I was 99.9 percent sure you were not sadistic enough to give Carly a bad review again, but I'm still happy she got it.

And jeans steeped with meaning. Heh. I do that with far too many pieces of clothing.

Yeah, this would not be a chapter where I expected anyone to be surprised!

It's ... It would just become a very different story is she *hadn't*. Which is interesting to think about... but way more PR-ish than Cas is going to be.

I steep *everything* with meaning. I figure for Carly, they have a bit a shadow now, but Nikolas wasn't that concerned about the jeans.

The bag, maybe.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to show up. It's been a really *bad* week. I want you to know, however, that I wasn't ignoring you or Casualties :-) I'm thrilled it was posted and gave me a small bit of escape!
Loved the bathtub moment... it was sweet, even though I giggled. And then the same position on the couch? Nice touch. Nik wanting to see her face when she heard the good news was again an awwwwww moment. I am so glad that Carly will only have to brave the Q's one more Friday but now I'm scared what will happen on this last visit! (Yeah, PR flashbacks. Whatever.)

So glad you enjoyed the chapter -- Nikolas kinda owes Carly a little sweet... though, actually, a strong case could be made that she owed him serious patience after all she's put him through. And he is getting her Michael back.

Still. Good of him to get into the bath.

No PR flashbacks in teh next chapter, I swear! Any PR flashbacks in Casualties won't come for several chapters yet.

it's Friday already. And I'm totally anticipating the party. I feel that anticipating Sundays so I can read Cas, means that I'm hurrying Monday along and that's bad.
Anyway, can't help it; I'll just deal with Mondays.
That was a really sweet chapter. Carly channeling Dino made me smile. I just loved this chapter. I am curious as hell to see what she & Lucky will come up with for a benefit.
In the meantime, nervously anticipating the party. I'm sure it'll be a party to remember.

Like I said to Danielle, I so appreciate you taking the time to reply -- never worry about late. I never care! I'm always just so happy to hear from people.

Plus: Olympics. I'm obsessed, so I'm always impressed that anyone does anything right now.

I nearly cut Carly's Dino impression, but I liked it too much. It was just odd enough that I felt the need to keep it in.

I think you said aways back that you were enjoying the lack of Laura, so regarding the party, I can only say... "I'm sorry."

Yeeeah. There is that.

Also, her relationship with Nikolas -- or her lack of one -- is pretty key in a lot of the things Nikolas will do between now and the end of the story.
