So we finally made it to Huntsville and when she opened the door I cried. She's so beautiful. And TALL! LOL So, after we said hi to everyone we quickly went dress shopping. The whole time we were waiting for something to go wrong. It always had in the past but it was perfect for us, awkward, I'm sure for her.

I cried, I'm not going to lie. My first words to her were, "Look at your beautiful face". I just wanted to hold her and not let go.

She just turned 13! It was a pretty brief visit but I hope to have more time with her later.

Well, brief or not, it's still awesome!! How far does she live from you? How long had it been since you saw her?

She's about 6 hours from us right now but well worth the time spent driving.

We last saw her on her 4th birthday. She had her party at Chuck E. Cheese and then got picked up there by her egg donor for what was supposed to be a visit but wound up being permanent.

But, all that is in the past! :D Her parents are talking about trying to let her come visit us next summer for about a week. I'm so anxious for that to happen!!
