so I've been working on a new screenplay. this is easily my best. the others were pretty bad. this one's flawed but better.

unfortunately, I thought of a single funny line today. I then spent hours laughing about it. literally. and am now totally blocked. as if all my writing mojo for the day got used up in one line.

meh.

I just dreamed about a synth patch with Archaeopteryx. basically you give the patch long systain and make it monophonic, so if a note expires it hops back to the first note. hit it with long durations in the beginning of the loop and short durations near the end. then you use it for dubstep bass lines. you put the notes of the bassline in a ( Read more... )

been watching Twin Peaks. really weird. favorite show as a teenager. it's a soap-opera world and they're all having affairs and chasing sex like in a soap opera. but there's this weird sort of "yes and" to the whole thing, which is they're all obsessed with delicious food also.
