yay now I have work and I'm not panicking (as much). so this conf I was thinking about going to, because it was in San Francisco, it isn't in SF at all, it's in Burlingame. apparently the goal was to be right near SFO. ok, but bleah.
maybe. I did too many confs last year so this year I'm doing much fewer. also, I cancelled on the three confs I was going to speak at because of health problems related to my surgery and not having any money. but my diet improved things so much that I probably could have gone to those after all. blah blah blah. long story short, I haven't decided. if they have a rejectconf - essentially the tech conference equivalent of an afterparty - up in San Francisco, I might go to that. honestly I'd rather just go up and hang out. the only conference I really want to go to this year is a motion graphics conference in New Mexico (motionconference.com).
