A G-RATED HORROR STORY

Also, if you'll believe it, out of twitter, tumblr, livejournal, wordpress, and facebook - I genuinely update livejournal the most.  I guess I'm more of a one-to-one sort of person, so most of my thoughts/opinions/comments come out in e-mails and conversations.  Actually, I have laughed so hard that my jaw hurt.  Or maybe talked so much.  ( Read more... )

Aaahhhh April! ><
Sorry for the huge delay in responding to your e-mail (and, in fact, responding to e-mails in general), I literally just finished a project on Thursday and spent FriSatSun writing like a maniac *cough* I mean... playing SSBM. And winning. This is important, you know.

Eh, most of the stuff is... well... garbage-y. Very garbage-y. At least upwards to 70% of what you write is salvageable. A 3000+ word meta rant on changing structures that fails to add anything to the story? Not so much.

But since it's quantity over quality...
My excuse for everything.

DREAMZ!!! It's been too long since I've seen you last! Hope things haven't been too busy for you!

First person POV is usually a pretty hard sell for me, but you're able to write it wonderfully. Is this perhaps part of your NaNoWriMo entry?

I think have to disagree with you about the structure change ramblings being unnecessary. Sure, it doesn't move the plot forward, but it gave me a better feel for the narrator. The level of detail you go into for your narrator's plotting really helps in bringing him/her to life. I really feel like I've been sitting right there with the narrator as he/she is quietly muttering to his/herself.

At any rate, it's been too long since I've see material from you, so this made me smile regardless of what complaints you have about its quality. :D

Crayon - Crayon!!! Oh my god, hi~~~!
I'm sorry, I'm always a little awkward when it comes to contacting fandom friends in the middle of a dry period. But I have been actively checking your journal and I am very disappointed in you young lady for having dropped NaNoWriMo for the -- *ahem* Long time no see!!! :DDD ( ... )

It's been a while!
And that's totally fine! I know the feel at any rate.

Ahaha, well, the problem with NaNoWriMo this year was that the new job threw me for a loop as far as partitioning off some time for writing goes. I usually have an outline or something to set me on the right path. I figured I'd admit a graceful defeat this year while skulking off to go write fanfic in the mean time.

Haha, my summaries as a way of staying informed. Oh dear. I'm glad you are going to read those chapter eventually though. I'm not too great at giving accurate summaries, but I can try to be entertaining?

Writing journal is still in the works. I haven't decided 1) if I'll be keeping original and fanwork there and 2) what kind of set up I'll be going with.

I've been doing well so far! The new job has been great and I've finally got to mess with some code and now I'm working on testing the new product build for defects. Most of my plot bunnies so far are KuroBasu centric (I'll eventually branch out one day!) and involve crossovers. That ( ... )
