Fatal Mistake

They were creatures of light and flesh, and their playground stretched from the mountain’s arteries to the giant pools of water in the valley. The pure white mountains to the North held their attention during the days, and the birds often watched the colourful halos of hair race each other downriver, a striking contrast to the white foam and the ( Read more... )

I really like this world! ^_^ Although more "history book"-ish than the other two, I still very much enjoyed it. Keep writing these- I think I'm going to run a one-shot RPG campaign based on this world, if you don't mind. =)

I think it's good to step away from being colloquial every once in a while. :P

I don't mind, but how would you go about doing that?

heehee yes I suppose so. ^_^

Well you see, I have recently switched from D&D to the far more open-ended BESM system (http://www.white-wolf.com/besm/) which can provide a basis for pretty much any TTRPG you could possibly want to play. I think your world would lend itself very well to RPG and would be a fun break from the very complex anime action/thriller/scifi campaign I'm currently running (which is loosely based on End of an Empire).

Most of that sailed over my head since I've never actually played an RPG (that wasn't a video game). Well, I started to play D&D with a few friends but we only managed to create characters before getting distracted by... um... DISP in general I guess.

Oooooh. I really like this. The landscape descriptions are lovely, and the similar themes to TWO works very nicely. I think it'd be really interesting to see a story where someone is digging through the geology of this land centuries or millennia later and traces the history of destruction through the artifacts.

Oh, also, have you finished revising TWO or should I go take a gander at it and see if I have any suggestions? Once you're done revising it I want to rec it, but I want to be and link the most current version that you're happiest with. :)

That would be interesting... hm...

I was planning on revising it sometime within the next couple of weeks, mostly to assimilate some comments I've gotten since I last tweaked it.
